Welcome to the collection of images related to the aerial view — a unique perspective that reveals panoramas and details from above. An aerial view is a perspective obtained by shooting or observing objects from above, usually from a short or significant distance over the ground. It covers a wide range of subjects — from urban landscapes and natural areas to architectural complexes and transportation systems.

The aerial view allows capturing objects and landscapes in their spatial context, revealing the relationships between elements of the environment. It is often used for shooting with drones, airplanes, or helicopters, enabling the observation of city structures, the extent of roads and rivers, fields and forests, coastlines and lakes, mountain ranges, and plains. In such images, one can notice typical shapes of objects: geometric patterns of residential blocks, winding lines of rivers, outlines of hills and mountains, as well as horizon lines that define the boundaries of the Earth's surface.

The aerial view includes a variety of natural and artificial landscape elements. Among them can be dense forest areas and open agricultural lands, water bodies with islands and bays, bridges and roads, buildings and industrial zones. Seasonal changes are also noticeable from this perspective — growing foliage, snow-covered terrain, flood-submerged plains, or arid land sections.

This type of image allows exploring the space as a whole, seeing characteristics of the Earth's surface and architecture, as well as assessing relationships between various natural and anthropogenic components. The aerial view is an important tool in geography, urban studies, ecology, and many other fields, providing comprehensive information about the terrestrial space from above.
