Decorative panel is a three-dimensional or flat composition created to adorn interiors, building facades, or public spaces. Such panels represent a unified artistic object consisting of various materials and elements combined into a composition that can occupy a significant area on a wall, ceiling, or other surface.

Decorative panels often use diverse materials: monumental mosaic, ceramic tile, wood, metal, fabric, glass, and others. A panel may have either an abstract or a narrative structure, including images of nature, architecture, plants, animals, geometric or ornamental elements. They can be applied in both residential and public spaces — from home living rooms and hotels to museums and administrative buildings.

The size of panels can vary greatly — from small compositions occupying part of a wall to large-scale installations covering entire walls or surfaces. Their harmonious integration into the space is important, taking into account the architectural features of the premises, functional purpose, and surrounding environment.

Decorative panels can be placed both indoors and on exterior facades. They may be either stationary or removable elements of interior decor. They are often positioned in places that attract attention — above fireplaces, in lobbies, libraries, corridors, and stairwells.

The themes of panels reflect a variety of natural and cultural motifs, including landscape elements, flora and fauna, historical scenes, abstract patterns, and symbolic images. The materials and manufacturing technology allow the panels to be adapted to climatic conditions, lighting levels, and the intended use of the space.

Thus, the decorative panel plays an important role in creating a visual accent, defining the character of the room, and becoming an integral part of architectural and interior design solutions.
