Space technologies are a set of engineering and technical solutions designed for the creation, launch, control, and operation of artificial objects in space. This field includes systems and devices that enable the exploration and development of near-Earth space, other planets, and outer space in general.

Within the collection of materials on space technologies, one can find images of satellites, spacecraft, rocket engines, space stations, and research probes. Also included are infrastructure objects such as ground control stations, assembly workshops, and launch pads, as well as elements related to the life support and operation of spacecraft and crews.

The physical characteristics of space technologies include complex navigation and communication systems, power units for autonomous operation in weightlessness and vacuum conditions, as well as materials and structures capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and cosmic radiation. The environment of space objects varies from Earth's atmosphere to deep space, where conditions of pressure, temperature, radiation background, and microgravity change.

Typical components of space technologies may include solar panels, antennas, manipulators, life support systems, scientific instruments, and equipment for data collection. Special attention is given to automatic control and telemetry technologies, as well as protection against space debris and micrometeoroids.

Seasonal and cyclical changes here are more often related to periods of solar activity and orbital trajectories that affect the working conditions of devices and mission planning. Space technologies are key to the development of space exploration, navigation, global communication, Earth monitoring, and the future exploration of the Solar System.
